Justin Masterson would be a solid pick at 52.

Lars Anderson, LaPorta, and Walden also still available.

    That's totally retarded.

But, I'm glad you got it to work.

Unless I overlooked him, I think HS lefty Brett Anderson, a Tommy John candidate if I've seen one, is still available. I am hoping the Reds haven't noticed.

Part of the "Luxury Tax" should include forfeiture of draft picks as well as cash payments.

    Or something along those lines.

And the general consensus doesn't mean a damn thing. I'm sure every team had a lot of the same names in different orders. Some like a certain guy more than others. The Reds like Stubbs. Great. He may pan out, he may not. Same as every name called today. We don't know. But one thing I do know is I want a front office thinking for itself, not reading off a list from Baseball America.

Look, in my mind Wayne Krivsky has earned some slack. He has a pretty darn good track record in Minnesota -- and let's face it, that's a tools organization; we all know that -- and he has done a hell of a job so far in Cincy. Call me crazy, but I'm not going to be arrogant enough to bash the guy over his first draft pick.

He's from nearby Beavercreek, OH, home of our beloved creek14.

I'm sure his parents would like that.

    50. Detroit- Ronald Bourquin, 3B, Ohio State

Had no idea OSU had anyone of note on the board. He's also a catcher.
