Buckley is in charge of this draft.

    Krivsky hired him, though.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

    Fantastic.

No, it means they've been "burned in", right, and surived the injury bug that hits 18-22 year olds, and are closer to the major leagues I thought taking college pitchers was better?

Hopefully we can get a couple of these relievers up to the big league club soon.

    Trying to stay optimistic here.
Thank you Walt and Bob for going for it in 2010-2014!

I know Buckley's in charge of it, but this draft reeks of Krivsky's weltanschauung.

Especially on the relieving/big pitcher jihad. That is a Krivsky directive.

I agree that Krivsky probably has had plenty of input.

He doesn't seem to be like DanO (who was more than happy to delegate any work to someone else).

Don't confuse "four-year college" with "fourth-year senior." Most of those guys are juniors.

That's true. Maybe this is Allen's last act of sabotage in his last contract year. Maybe Allen is squeezing the draft budget again.

I'm not ultra-excited about this draft, but I'm trying not to be a defeatist.
If we get a nice CF and 2 relievers out of this draft (yeah, I know that may be a stretch), it will still be one of the best drafts we've had in a long time.
