At home, what record will be acceptable in 7 games vs. Cubs and Brewers?

I think a 5-2 record would be pretty awesome to get. Anytime you can just win any series you gotta take .. Cubs are terrible though, Brewers not much better .. I will be disappointed if we can't take 3 of 4 versus Cubs and in the Brewers series.

4-3 in every 7 games gets us 93 wins. Anything less than that against the Cubs and Brewers at home would be disappointing. Of course, who predicted a possible 6-0 on the road vs. the Astros and Cards...
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I honestly don't worry about it. I just take 'em one at a time and hope they win every game.

Same here. There's no sense in sitting down and looking at the schedule and saying you have to win this game, this game and this game.

Take it day by day and see where you're at come September.

You're also glad to help the ballclub right? I thought you were channeling Crash Davis right there.

4-3 would be acceptable. 5-2 would be preferred. 6-1 or 7-0 would be pure gravy.
