I think you're just dying to make the Reds pick. Don't screw it up.

I base my picks on the second option you listed.

    Damn right.

I think you will like my pick that I have in mind(if lollipop doesn't take him first).

With the 8th overall pick in the 2006 draft, the Reds select Brandon Morrow, RHP, University of California.

I had the same question, Doc. I probably read the same article you did on the Tigers and see Stubbs there but know they could also take Kershaw (although his late entry would make me very, very cautious). I would be fine if the Reds took Stubbs looking at what he brings to the table. We sure do not have the likes of him in our system.

    Re: Redszone mock draft?

After Lincecum and Lincoln went off the board, it really came down to a coin toss for me between Brandon Morrow and Daniel Bard, and I decided to go with Morrow.

    Thoughts?

If if actually plays out like this I think the Reds would take Reynolds(non Boras).

I'd go with Morrow over Bard too. Nice dilemma to have.
    I'm not a system player. I am a system.

I also agree. Morrow is who I hope the Reds take, although I'd be satisfied with any of the high-ranked college arms as long as it's a starter. I just think Lincecum has higher risk involved.

Morrow would be my pick there too. I would love it if the Reds ended up with Morrow.

Me as well. I really like Morrow. I think he's going to be a nice MLB pitcher shortly down the road.
