Can I make a suggestion too? Would the selectors mind leaving stats links with their selections, current and career? If that's too much trouble, I understand. Of course, HSers probably won't have any, but some may.

I just took the guy I thought was the best player available at the time of my pick. I think he would sign though for $3,000,000 to a contract though. He does not sit out another year.

This thing would really speed up if TeamSelig and Mario-Rijo make their picks soon. Unfortunatly, it will probably be a while before they make their pick. Rijo hasn't been on since 6:30 PM yesterday and TS hasn't bene on since 3:30 this morning.

Is Lincecum a reliever or starter?

Starter. Some feel he will end up as a closer due to his short stature, but I think he stays as a starter. I've heard him compared to Roy Oswalt due to his size, mid 90's fastball, and great curveball. MLB.com thinks the Reds will draft him, which would thrill the hell out of me.

I've have also heard that some see him as a reliever due to the resiliency of his arm. He seems to be able to pitch and pitch and then throw some more without ill effects, possibly due to his unique mechanics

    Re: Redszone mock draft?

Just curious, with the Reds having the #8 pick, I'd be curious to see those who can do such things summarize all these names bandied about by putting out their board up to the Reds first pick. Not who each team will take, but the top 8 from the Reds' perspective.

What do we do if these two guys(Team Selig and Mario-Rijo) don't show up? Neither have been on in a long time, and the GM's of the teams after them are all on right now. This thing could fly through the next few picks if these guys would show up.

No, I think we have to wait. If a PM has been sent to both of them, give them an hour from when the PM was sent. We can't just go on and skip over 2 teams. How are we to know who they would have picked? This is a marathon (all weekend), not a sprint. If the hour after the PM has been sent and they do not show, then try and find replacement GM's for those two teams.

Do we skip the pick or do we pick someone for them?

I say give them a little while longer, but not all day.
