Comments: Raw athlete who has hit close to .600 his last two years in high school. Good swing creates consistent results. A tweener defensively in the outfield.
RL, nice pick on Burriss.

Doc Scott sent his pick to me.
With the 50th overall pick in the draft, the Tigers select Mike Ambort, C, Lamar University.
NC Reds is on the clock...
Outstanding Picks bye Doc, it's pretty much what I was considering as far as both picks to this point. I was a bit torn between Stubbs & Kershaw in the 1st rd. as while doing my research the Tigers fans I chatted with had Kershaw, Stubbs and then Hochevar as what they wanted + what is likely in the 1st in that order. I wasn't completely sold on Kershaw that early so I was leaning towards Stubbs and they also wanted a solid C here w/ the 2nd rounder and Ambort is not a bad p/u here.
So good scouting Doc!
