...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

I don't think anyone will be too surprised by this. With there being a lefty on the mound and Junior not having many days off since coming back, today might have been a day off for Junior regardless. Also, with the team swinging the bats so well as a unit, missing his bat for a game isn't that big of a deal.

with a lefty on the mound i can understand he'll be nice and fresh for the final 3 games i dont mind him sitting if the offense does what it did last nite

Kind of figured Junior might sit again today with a lefty on the mound (see yesterday's original post), and that is in fact the case. Then again, I'm sure Arroyo will make up for his absence offensively considering Rusch is on the mound.

    Is EE still day-to-day?

Or this could be an all-too common trend. The 'day-to-day' that turns into a 'week-to-week.' I hope it's just a precautionary day off, but I'm not optimisic.

    I'm not worried.

Jerry said yesterday today was probably going to be an off day anyway.

Now...if he's not in there tomorrow, I may begin to wonder.

We're not allowed to use the term "day to day" anymore.

Anyone else think Rusch throws the first pitch behind BA? I would if I were him!

If he's smart he'll throw low and outside and in the dirt. Arroyo has been swinging at everything that moves.

I echo the sentiments of others....I'm not worried about tonight but if he's not in there tomorrow I'll start to get suspicious.

I'm more worried about EE then Griffey.

Anybody know how Edwin's "re-evaluation" go with Doc Hollywood today?
