The Brewers have 9 hits and have walked 8 times, but only have 4 runs... I bet they are taking lessons from the Reds.

Turnbow in to close the game for the Brewers.

John Rodriguez strikes out. 1 out.
Aaron Miles grounds out. 2 outs.
David Eckstein strikes out. 3 outs.

    Brewers win 4-3

I hope the Reds can get to Marmol tomorrow, but they always seem to have trouble going against rookies.

    Usually it's soft tossing rookies.

Yeah right now this team truly lacks a reliable BP guy to go to when you need that big out, or to get out of a jam.

No Scott Sullivan's on this team.

I said at the time that picking up Yan smacked of desperation. I have no reason to reassess that opinion.

To that pickup, I say, "Don't crap in my hand and call it a sundae."

They could use Coffey, and I would and worry about the 9th if it ever came to that.

I totally agree with that. You're worried about saving him for the 9th when the game is on the line in the 7th or 8th? Ridiculous IMO.

But then I've always shown skepticism at this set closer role, as if it has to be one player, written in stone.

I didn't agree with some of the comments he made last year; but wanting to play, and thinking you can contribute (which he did last year) is not selfishness IMO.

If that is the case, then most players are selfish.

I've heard Freel, Lopez, Kearns, Pena, and others, in the past, complain about not getting the playing time they think they somehow deserved.

The reason Dunn is not at 1B is because he doesn't want to play there.

The reason JR is still in CF is because he wants to play there.

    Are the above being selfish?
