    Starting lineup from Major League

I was thinking about this and wondered if we could come up with the starting lineup for the Indians in the movie Major League. Off the top of my head I have:

Catcher - Jake Taylor, Rube Baker, and Jack Parkman
    1st -
    2nd -
    3rd - Roger Dorn
    Short -
    LF - Taka Tanaka
    CF - Wily Mayes Hayes
    RF - Pedro Cerrano

    Pitchers:
    Rick Vaugn
    Eddie Harris
    ??? Schup

Re: Starting lineup from Major League

A friend and I decided that the Cleveland Indians should give away Major League bobbleheads next year instead of real players.

Do 4 nights during the course of the season:
    1.) Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn
    2.) Willy Mays Hayes
    3.) Jake Taylor
    4.) Pedro Cerrano

I'd make the drive to Cleveland for a night to pick each one up.

Original ML: Tomlinson played LF. He "needed a Visa" to get one of the blasts off of Vaughn early in the movie.

Wasn't Jack Parkman the catcher for the White Sox [or was it Yankees] when the Tribe was trying to make the playoffs?

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:

    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12

I remember a player named Gentry, he was in the red tag scene. Not sure where he played though.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

Re: Starting lineup from Major League

I'm going to have to go back and really do some digging, but in the East Division championship game in Cleveland in the top of the first, Dorn fielded the ball and tossed it to a first baseman for the third out.

I had no idea Perdo Cerrano was President David Palmer.
