Went to the Dragons game on Saturday against West Michigan. I came away very impressed with the CF for the Whitecaps Cameron Maybin. 6'4 200kid who can run, play the field, and works at the plate. Not to mention hit a Mammoth Grand Slam onto the road beyond the dragons lair to win the game. He seems to be on the fast track to the bigs. This kid can play.
He is one of the best prospects in baseball. In high school he drew comparisons to Ken Griffey Jr at the same age. He has some real talent and I still cant believe he fell so far in last years draft....
Cameron played his summer ball a few years ago in Cincinnati for the Midland Redskins, the same team Jr. played on years ago.
