I hope Mays outperforms the last ex Royal

I hope his performance is marginally better than the last great theft from Kansas City, Roger Nelson, or was that Rich Gale

    Danny Jackson?
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I don't even want to venture a guess at what Mays line will be tonight, it could be scary.

Salkeld was drafted by Seattle and played with the Mariners and Reds. If I remember correctly he had some arm trouble but pitched fairly well for the Reds in 96, don't remember him pitching for the Royals
