    Broken Trail

Did anyone watch this on AMC last night? The first half was pretty good, I can't wait for part 2 tonight at 8 PM. Great performances from Thomas Haden Church and Robert Duvall in this one.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

I watched it and plan to watch the rest tonight. I also watched Open Range this weekend.

I'll watch anything with Robert Duval in a cowboy hat.

I missed that one. Too bad.

I saw Duval in A Civil Action with Travolta, Gandolfini, and several other fairly well known actors on AMC this past week. I was surprised that it was pretty good. I really liked that book though.

Back to the topic at hand, I "taped" Broken Trail and have not watched it yet. I'm waiting for my dad's endorsement before I do.

Don't wait, it was damn good. I'm DVR'ing part 2 tonight, and taking my kids to the movies.

I really liked it as well. I'll be watching tonight's conclusion. Duvall is definitely one of my favorites.

Anyone who likes Duval and hasn't seen Lonesome Dove really should.

    And the book is incredible.

Wow, part 2 was just as good as the first. It's rare to find movies like this on television anymore.
