Trade advice needed. Buehrle,Ray for Chipper and Coffey

I was offered Buehrle and Ken Ray for Chipper Jones and Todd Coffey. I have Freel, and Freddie Sanchez and Joe Crede and Cuddyer and Youkillis as 3rd base eligibility besides Chipper. My Relievers are Coffey and Timlin. My starting Pitchers are Marquiz ,Milton, Glavine, Maddox, Robertson, Arroyo, Schilling and Jerrod Weaver.

He had also offered Mulder for Chipper Jones Trade.
    Which trade looks better?

I wouldn't do either. Mulder just hit waivers in my league and Buehrle is held by someone who isn't active. I've got Ray and Coffey and I wouldn't trade Todd for Ken. I'd wait on Weaver; he'll be back this season. If you can still get Saito off waivers, do it.

Mulder is also availbe in all my leagues. I wouldn't pick him up for a spot start against the Royals.

I'd keep Buehrle over Chipper. Coffey I own and I'm debating on dropping him. I'd sell high now on Glavine and Arroyo/Weaver for a better option at 3rd than Chipper. Try for Chavez, A.Ram, Blalock, Rolen or Zimmerman deal.

I have Freel, and Freddie Sanchez and Joe Crede and Cuddyer and Youkillis as 3rd base eligibility. My Relievers are now Ray, and Timlin and I picked up Foulke. I put Foulke on the Dl. My starting Pitchers are now Buehrle, Glavine, Maddox, Robertson, Arroyo, Schilling and Jerrod Weaver. I picked up Jennings and Westbrooke off waivers. I dropped Milton and Marquiz.

What do you think of those results because of trade and the pick ups off waivers?

You're 3rd base combo is now a weakness. You will have to research, research, research pitcher/hitter matchups to off set your average at best 3rd basemen.

You're staff is better with Buehrle. Westbrook and Jennings are okay. You got them from the waiver wire because they are just that. I think Jennings is better off pitching away from Coors Field. If Jennings gets dealt to a contender I think he will be a even better option. Westbrook...drop him for a another 3rd baseman. Who is availble? Foulke is worthless. If your league counts Loses and innings pitched, the amount of starters you have might hurt you.

The league doesn't count losses or have a innings pitched rule. I will look to see who else is availabe at 3rd. Thanks for feedback Redsnake.

    You're welcome Gallen5862.

Just remember you have a very deep and talented pitching staff. Packaging a few of them for some offense down the road might be the key too winning your league.

I dropped Jim edmonds and picked up Ryan Zimmerman. Should I pick up Inge or Aurilla to help at 3rd?

Good pick up in Zimmerman. I picked him up in two leagues to help out my struggling Eric Chavez and Hank (can't hit leftys) Blalock. Stay away from Inge and his horrid average.
You sure can tell that you are a Reds fan. All those Reds deserve to be owned by a team, I just don't know if I would own that many myself. One that you don't own that you should is David Ross. He would be a better option than Willingham. Aurilla is a super sub like Cuddyer, Aurilla can play SS also.
    What are your scoring catagories?

How many DL spots do you have? Most leagues only allow 2 DL spots.
