Take your team to the grave
    THE ENQUIRER

Major League Baseball and Eternal Image Inc. have reached an agreement that allows caskets and urns to be decorated with the names and logos of any of the 30 big-league teams.

    Financial terms were not disclosed.

"This new line of team-specific funeral products opens a whole new market for our company - a market that is just waiting for a way to make team loyalty a 'final' statement of a great passion in their lives," Clint Mytych, chief executive officer of Eternal Image, said in a statement from the company.

The products will be available in 2007.

That's absurd. Who's to stop me from buying buried in Reds regalia as it is? Baseball's efforts to capitolize on every little, obscure usage of it's brand might be lucrative, but in this instance it is a little tasteless.

Tasteless. Major League Baseball will stop at nothing.

The devil? Uh, wait, you'd have to be buried in Georgia to see him.

I think when Chip departs this mortal coil, he should do it in a Cubs coffin.

    Who's with me?!

I know the band Kiss had caskets they used to sell. Not sure if they still do.

We are certain he does not like the Cubs, though.
And he really doesn't like Cubs fans.
