    Road trip for starting pitching

Just a quick thing I calculated earlier. On the 7 game road trip to Cleveland and New York the Reds starting pitching gave up 19 ER on 46 2/3 innings which calculates to a 3.66 ERA. The Reds are fourth in the NL in team ERA for starting pitching 4.24 ERA.

That's downright impressive. There are more than four good pitcher's parks in the NL and GAB might be one of the worst, so when you throw in Park factors this rotation is really kicking butt and taking names. The good news is that bullpen help might be the easiest to acquire at the deadline. It's still difficult to imagine what kind of package the Reds could put together to get it, though.
