Re: Where Do the Reds Rank?

    The summary:

    Offense: Good
    Defense: Bad
    Starting Pitching: Good
    Relief Pitching: Bad
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

It's amazing that only 4 teams in the league have stolen more bases than they've been caught. Seems to me that usually the league average is 2 steals for every one caught stealing.

I think if you move us up to 6-8 in relief pitching we will be winning alot of games.

Bad doesn't come close for the pen...I'd use 'disastrous'

The defense appears to be getting better.
