    Umpires

I'm sure this is uttered every year by some baseball fan somewhere; "sure seems like the umps are blowing a lot of calls this year". Truth be known, I uttered the same thing in chat while watching the game last night.

While there have been some squirley strike zones, blown base running calls and other various goofy umpire decisions so far this year, I don't know how to qantify it against other years.

Soooooo.....what is the worst baseball ump decision you've ever witnessed?

Another option, what do you think the worst call of all time is?

Ok...let's all be safe out there.

I have to type fast before someone else gets this one. Without a doubt, it was in tne 1970 World series when Bernie Carbo got called out when Elrod Hendrix tagged him with the empty glove...grrr, I still get mad.

Actually, Bernie missed the plate but eventually stepped on it when he was returning to the dugout.
