    6-28 minor league updates

    Zach Ward threw a scoreless first inning. Two singles, a pickoff, and two groundouts.

    Dayton leads 5-0 after one inning. Jay Bruce has an RBI single.

    GCL Reds won 7-6.

    Juan Francisco went 2-for-5 with two doubles. Rich Gardner threw two innings, allowing 0 runs, 0 hits, 1 walk, and struckout four.

    The Dayton Dragons are now playing after the rain delay.
    Ward has been replaced by Haltiwanger.

    Parker: 1 for 2
    Stubbs: 1 for 2 with a RBI
    Colon: 1 for 1 with a homerun and walk

    Richie Gardner worked 2 Innings for the GCL Reds, 4 K's and 1 BB.

    Man...I checked the box scores when I got home tonight and saw Ward only pitched 3 innings and started to get worried about an injury. Came here to see a rain delay was the cause and I was pretty happy. Oh and Jay Bruce....yeah, he is good.

    He may have bad a been GM, but man O'Brien's last 2 1st rounders are looking really good right now. Not to mention the Lidle trade.

    Too bad everything else he did was crap.
