    Chris Carpenter Injured?

Trainer out looking at him now. The NL Central plot thickens.

    Dearest Albert,

While I'm having a break from the media, I'd like to invite you over for dinner and some discussion. I hear you all need run support.

    Sincerely,

    Bonds, Barry Bonds

Cleveland ain't dead yet. They've got 'em first and third one out in the eighth.

3-2 Cardinals in the 8th with 1 out.

Isringhausen is now in the game.

He stayed in the game and finished the 7th, but he did not come back for the 8th. So it's probably nothing serious, but I'm sure we'll hear more about this one after the game.

if everyone at this site tells 10 people to vote 50 times(you will need 2 email adresses to do this) we can rack up over 50000 votes and help get junior into the starting lineup. I just voted 100 times, every vote counts www.mlb.com

Jr. doesn't deserve to start and I'd rather have him resting.

St. Louis has two on (1st and 2nd) with one out following a walk to Pujols. Bottom of the 8th.
