One of the best here at the Worldwide Leader. Pete's just one of those guys that loves to talk baseball with whoever. He doesn't care if you're a cameraguy behind the scenes or a big name producer. We all wish him well here in Bristol and are praying for him and his family.

I've always thought that Gammons had a few TIA's (mini-strokes). His speech is a little slurred, and I believe he exhibits symptoms of a neurological disorder.
All the best to Gammons and his family. He gets a lot of crap on this board, but honestly, he's probably the best known and most inflluential baseball writer of the past 20-30 years.
Best wishes. I love reading his column in Baseball America, and he's one of the few ESPN guys I respect.
