AP - FBI, police, break up illegal All Star voting ring

    (AP) Hoboken, NJ

Today federal investigators broke up an illegal group of people voting in the 2006 Major League Baseball All-star game via the Major League Baseball's website and also an extensive mail-in voting effort.

Thursday afternoon in east Hoboken the FBI along with local law enforcement apprehended 17 suspects off of an anonymous tip. "There were several rooms of computers, and apparently hundreds of write in votes, I've never seen anything like it," remarked officer John Smith.

MLB was first alerted to the possibility of an illegal voting ring when former MLB pitcher Oil Can Boyd rose to top 20 among write in votes. Once that happened, says a MLB official, "We knew something was going on."

MLB has strict policy of a max of 25 votes per person. The names of the suspects have not been released. If convicted, each suspect could draw a $25,000 fine and up to 5 years in prison.

I would. After Tommy Lee, Brett Michaels, and Kid Rock have all had their turn at it. Those guys alone are probably carrying STD's that haven't been discovered yet, so who knows what they've passed along to her.

IIRC, she got the 'fakeness' removed and is all natural now again.

Where's Ed Bailey and Gus Bell when you need them?
Some people play baseball. Baseball plays Jay Bruce.

If you didn't vote for Adam Dunn 75 times as well they ought to throw you under the bus.
