Tony Womack Dfaed by the Cubs.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/transactions
Chicago Cubs Activated outfielder Angel Pagan from the 60-day disabled list; designated infielder Tony Womack for assignment.

This has to send some type of message to Womack.

This move looks even worse now...thanks Dan.

A crappy team doesn't even want him.

Is it just me, or is the "designate for assignment" being used a lot more than it used to be?
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

You can thank D Jimenez and Graves for that, it started a trend and it hasn't stopped yet.

If Krivsky picked him up I'd bet he'd be hitting pinch-hit homeruns for us by the middle of next week.
