Teahen Homers in the Top of the 11th, Cards Lose

    That is all

    Reds still in first place!

Let's hope the Royals can finish the sweep tomorrow.

I could be way off, but I'm pretty confident the Cardinals are not capable of running away and hiding this year.

One thing I did notice....Hancock threw approximately 4 innings of hitless relief tonight. Who wouldn't want him back?

Even though I enjoy watching the Cardinals lose, it's still way too early to be scoreboard watching. I'll enjoy this first place stand while it lasts, hopefully it last until late Sept.

not to mention luke hudson shut them down in the 10th.
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008

    And the 11th. He got the "W"; 2 innings 3hits. 3K's, 1 walk; 0 runs

Hudson worked out of a bases-loaded, nobody-out jam in the tenth, then got through the Pujols/Rolen part of the Cards lineup in the eleventh. Pretty amazing, considering he'd gotten lit up any time he'd set foot on the mound in a KC uniform this year.
