Votto takes a strike, ball high, deep drive to right home run distance but it slices foul, another foul, away ball two, ball three, high ball 4.

Looks like Homers control has abandoned him. Votto is a stud, I will be extremely surprised if he isn't the starting first basement in cincy next year.

Votto is up with the bases loaded, 2-0 Chattanooga.

Votto takes a ball, foul, 2-run single by Votto. All that man does is hit. 4-0 now after two innings.

Why exactly do you think that Homer's control has "abandoned" him?

I made that post just after he had completed the 2nd inning. Looks to me that it wasn't that his control had abandoned him, its just that his stuff seems to be so good today that he probaly couldn't locate his offspeed pitches in the strike zone for the first few batters.

    Bailey didn't pitch the 6th.

His updates AA stats thru three starts:

    17 IP, 7 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 22 K, 0.00 ERA, 0.65 WHIP, 11.65 K/9
