Trevor Lawhorn has been traded to the Blue jays to finish the Schoeneweis deal.
Ronnie Ortegon has also been named Minor League Hitting Coordinator replacing Leon Roberts, who had the job for the last 6 years.
Compliments of Marcs blog.

Nice deal there!Trevor Lawhorn has been traded to the Blue jays to finish the Schoeneweis deal.
The Reds also just acquired Jerry Gil from the Diamondbacks for Abe Woody.
Gil is a 24 year old CFer/IF. He played a majority of his games in CF this year after being primarily a SS for his career, but with Stephen Drew in the system, he wasnt going anywhere toward SS. He hit 26 HR and slugged .531 as a 23 year old in the same league Joey Votto played in. Downside he hit just .268 and walked just 18 times while whiffing 111 times. He has been added to the 40 man roster.
Is he still a shortstop? How did we pull that off?
He was a CF last season mostly, and he has been added to the Reds 40 man roster as an OF....so I would assume, at least for now, the plans are to keep him in the OF.
