I know this is silly, but does anyone know what Phillips, Lopez, and now even Homer bailey have around their necks? It looks cool and I want one!!! Sorry for the fashion interuption. I'll try to not let it happen again.

I'm pretty sure that they are titanium necklaces from a company called Phiten. They are designed to reduce fatigue and stress. But I haven't ever really paid that much attention to BP or Lopez, but I will look at some pictures to be sure if this is it or not.
That's what they are.
Don't know how or if they actually work, though.
I think they're replacing greenies these days because lots of guys are wearing them.

Weird, I wonder if they do anything.
How much do they cost?

A lot of the players on the Japanese national team also wore them during the World Baseball Classic.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.
Here's a web site that debunks some of the hype on Phiten

I noticed last night that there were several players wearing them. I had wondered what they were.

I really doubt the necklace does much of anything by itself.
However, anything that you think works, likely does to some degree.
