Marathon game going on in Chicago

There is a great game going on between the Red Sox and White Sox. The game is going into the 17th inning. The game was tied with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th on a Jermaine Dye homer. Then both teams scored twice in the 11th. Now the game is tied 5-5 and is currently up to 5 and half hours.

White Sox get two on with no outs in the 17th and don't score. Game headed to the 18th.

This is great. Maybe the Al pitchers and Bull pens will be worn out. It seems like Ozzie named his entire pitching staff to the AL squad.

Dye with a really nice catch to end the top of the 19th...

So what's the record for most at bats in a game without reaching base? Varitek is 0-8, but at least he has a walk.

ken harrelson just said... I never went 0-7.. because i could bunt.

The "Hawk" (gag) only played two games in which he got 7 ab's in his whole career.. but he did have and 0-6 on 8-25-1968.... Guess he couldn't bunt that day.

    He gone.....

Dye doesn't. He has the Home Run Derby Monday and the ASG Tuesday.

Does the Al name replacements. Tom Glavine gave up his spot to get a replacement.
