I'm embarassed to say that I only got 28 out of 50 right.
However, now that I look at how the major leaguers did on this test, I scored higher than Sean Casey, so I'm okay with that.

My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!
39 for me. Not too bad, I guess.
18 for me
Brad Ausmus was the only one that didn't know Nolan Ryan holds the record for most no-hitters, and Ausmus is an astro himself.. shame
I scored 19 myself
32
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
Yeah, that is pretty bad that Ausmus didn't know that one... Didn't he go to Dartmouth??Originally Posted by Tornon
I got a 19 as well. There were so many I feel like I should have known, but didn't.

36 here but according to the baseball encyclopedia THe question asking who holds the all-time record in the al for the highest BA is incorrect. They are saying that it was Nap Lajoie with a 426 ave in 1901. the encyclopedia says he hit 422. However Rogers Hornsby hit 424 in in 1924. So maybe I got 37.

26. I wonder what the schwaub would get. That guy's amazing.
41/50
I missed on questions 4, 12, 15, 24, 26, 28, 35, 36, and 40. Still grumpy about a couple of those because I used to know them, but they do say that beer kills brain cells.
And a 28 on that quiz isn't anything to be ashamed of sava. It's very hard. And I'll wait for woy's perfect score.
Oh, and if anyone thinks this is an open-book test, you're lame.

Yeah, I was kind of embarrased at my 32, because I know I used to know a few of the answers I missed. Oh well, like you, too many beers and almost 50 years of other things crowding up in my head....Originally Posted by SteelSD

Hey, I was tempted to reference resources as well as I had about a 50/50 shot to nail over half the questions I missed.Originally Posted by 919191
