The curse of the goat strikes again

    Wow..Zambrano now. What next?

Carlos Zambrano could be headed to the disabled list after being hit in the pitching arm by a fungo bat prior to the All-Star game.
Zambrano was doing an interview with Venezuelan television near the batting cage when White Sox coach Joey Cora accidentally hit his pitching elbow with a fungo bat. X-rays on the elbow were negative and he will have it further examined in Chicago on Wednesday.

The only thing that would make this better (odd-er) is if Cora had been wearing one of those giant racing sausage costumes from Miller Park.

Probably the only solid contact Joey Cora ever made in his career

The only thing keeping me from saying "conspiracy" is...well...it is the Cubs we are talking about.

Seems less of a conspiracy and more "poetic justice", as the goat laughs in perpetuity
