Thank God, maybe he'll put an end to me seeing the David Ecksteins and Jack Wilson's of the NL making the All-Star team.

Still a 2man pitching show this year, Oswald and Clemens. A bad bullpen and now a 2 man ofense in Berkman and Tejada.

I guess in this division that could be enough but still some major holes in that team.
Their offense is bad, but it's not nearly as bad as some would like to paint it. It's middling right now. With Miggy, it's good.

And their pen, outside of Lidge, has been getting better. And I'm sure they'll address their pen, unlike Cincinnati.

And if I had to have a 2 man rotation: it'd be Oswalt and Clemens.

Also, if this is true, Miggy can opt to become a free agent at the end of the year since he is in the middle of a long term contract. With his contract, though, you'd think he'd wouldn't go that route.

Didn't they just do that last week?

Oh that's right it doesn't count unless it's perfect.

It would probably be along the same magnitude of the Carlos Beltran trade two years ago.

I'm not sure what they have. But the results speak for themselves.

And I don't want "perfect," just "clearly better."

sounds like a lot of speculation on their part.
