I can't believe I didn't email BA about Milton Loo. Hopefully we will have an answer shortly on him. Thanks for the list.

I wonder if Andy Boutwell had attempted some kind of comeback which failed, or if this was an issue of clearing up paperwork. He hadn't pitched in a couple years.

Np about the list. Wasn't Mummy just drafted in the 2005 draft? Wonder why he retired?

    20. Ben Mummy, 1B, U. of Nevada
    6-3/205#, R/R, Age 21

    2005 Billings: .209/.331/.324, 44 G, 148 AB, 10 2B, 1 HR, 20 BB, 47 K, 4/6 SB

2006 level: GCL, a demotion. Hmm.

Whaled eighteen homers and drew twenty-five walks his senior season.

2005 Pro Results: Fatigue appeared to take its toll on Mummy after a solid start. Apparently motivation was a problem as well, as Mummy showed up on the voluntarily-retired list in July 2006.

Technically speaking, isn't all retirement voluntary? If you're involuntarily retired, doesn't that mean you were fired?

Ditto Frank Bludau...I think this was just cleanup work.
