Most of the time it's on the team's website... but it wasn't. This article is from the Chattanoogan: [bolded for emphais]

Friday night 4,498 fans were on hand for baseball and fireworks at BellSouth Park where the Birmingham Barons shutout the Chattanooga Lookouts, 1-0.

It was pitching over hitting for the second straight night. Thursday night the Lookouts won, 2-1. Tonight Tyler Pelland (5-3) and Birmingham’s Lance Broadway (6-6) hurled four innings of scoreless ball. The only run in the contest came in the fifth inning on a home run over the right field wall by the Baron’s Thomas Collaro.

Four Birmingham pitchers combined on the 1-0 shutout.

With Tennessee’s loss to Jacksonville Friday, the Lookouts (13-10) remained tied for first place in the North Division. If West Tenn wins, there will be a three-way tie for the top spot.

The Lookouts had seven hits to six for the Barons. Gary Patchett was 2-for-3; Ryan Hanigan went 2-for-4; Anderson Machado was 1-for-3; Joey Votto and Noochie Varner went 1-for-4.

Birmingham came up with three double plays in the game; Chattanooga had two.

The Lookouts had three scoring opportunities but couldn’t get the big hit when they needed it.

    1. Chattanooga missed a scoring opportunity in the second inning. With Hanigan on third with one out, Rick Asadoorian grounded out to second. Luis Bolivar walked and stole second. With runners on second a third, Patchett struck out swinging to end the theat.

    2. In the seventh inning, the Lookouts wasted another opportunity to score. With Hanigan on third and one out, Asadoorian fanned and Bolivar grounded out to second.

    3. Patchett led off the eighth with a single to left. After Javon Moran struck out, Machado walked. With left hander Votto up, the Barons went to the pen for lefty Tim Bittner. It worked as Votto grounded into a second-to-short-to first double play.

The Lookouts stranded six base runners and Birmingham left seven runners on base.

Pelland threw six innings giving up six hits and one run, he walked three and struck out two batters. He got good support from the defense with two double plays.

    The bullpen pitched effectively Friday:
    - David Shafer pitched the seventh inning and eighth innings. He walked two but did not give up a hit or a run.
    - Jim Abbott set the Barons down 1-2-3 in the ninth inning.

Tomorrow night's game showcases two outstanding pitchers. Birmingham's Tyler Lumsden (9-2/2.74) faces Chattanooga Homer Bailey (3-0/0.00).
    Game time is 7:15 p.m.
