DENVER (AP) -- San Francisco Giants rookie Fred Lewis hit for the cycle Sunday in Colorado.

Four days after being called up from Triple-A Fresno, Lewis became the 22nd player in franchise history to accomplish the feat. He also became the first rookie to do it since Houston's Luke Scott on July 28 last season against Arizona, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Lewis doubled in the first inning, struck out in the second, hit a three-run homer in the fourth and tripled in the fifth. He led off the seventh with a single to complete the 24th cycle in Giants history.
