Jungle Karma... I won't listen to this, even as much as I would like to. I have a personal embargo on anything Jim Rome related.

Rome is a bore...in addition to that he is not aired anywhere near Columbus....Dayton, I think is the closest market that he is heard in.

Give a summery of all things Special K had to say and leave out any of Jim Rome's "takes".

Right now, I'm hearing a fart soundtrack on the Jim Rome Show. Stay Classy, Jim Rome/ESPN.

I thought "Romey" was on the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.

To be fair, I don't think Rome's radio show is directly affiliated with ESPN. Lots of ESPN affiliates run it though.

Only thing good ever for Rome is hosting Pat Tillman's memorial service.

Re: Wayne on Jim Rome this hour

Basically, talked about Wayne's coming up through the decades in baseball. Talked alot about the player development / scouting side of the game.

Then of course talked about the deal with the Nats. Wayne said they did what they had to do for this season. He also admitted he may have overpaid, but only time will tell. They talked about how the trade has been controversial. Wayne said he expected it, but you have to trust your "baseball people", and he does. He said perhaps the trade was viewed as "bad" because your average fan doesn't know alot of the guys the Reds got in return.

At the end they mentioned how Narron and Wayne look for "baseball players" along with talent. Basically talking about the Reds belief system, which is obvious with guys like Aurilla, Hat, and now Clayton.

actually, now that they are on 50,000 watts, you might be able to catch him on 1530 the sports animal out of Cincinnati. That move happened last week and they have rome on from 12-3

    I don't know about that.

Rome's Jim Everett interview where Everett flipped over the table and went after Rome for one too many 'Chris' references was pure gold. I'm pretty sure Rome soiled himself when Everett made his move.
