I'd easily take Benson in the rotation over Mays. What would it take to get a package of Tejada and Benson? Would Olmedo or Bergolla be a good starting place? Perhaps throw in Claussen. I think the package could be less if you take on all of Tejada's and Benson's contracts.

I'd start with that. I feel that Travis Wood will be the better pitcher.

Nope, but after this year, they won't even be on the team. Tejeda simply isn't realistic nor should it be. The Reds solution to SS lies elsewhere.

While most of us probably have no problem looking at Anna Benson, I want her nowhere within a 500 mile radius of Cincinnati.

It had been much ballyhooed that she was part of the reason Benson is no longer a Met.

Bedard is a much better option, regardless of Mrs. Benson.

I'd send Homer, and see what else, if anything, the Orioles would send along with Bedard.
