Word gets around, however... I wouldn't hire an employee who takes to the internet and spills dirt on previous co-workers.Originally Posted by smith288

Unless he knows all said former co-workers are equally despised among baseball men? Who knows. Im just a lowly poster on a forum.
Im pretty sure he knows what he's doing in how it relates to his career. At least I hope.
Me too... I also assume most "baseball guys" are too technologically backwards and/or don't care enough to venture into a spot like this.Originally Posted by smith288

Cedric 3/24/08It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...
Trust me, I know what I can say and what I can not. I venture into the Grey area now and then. All is good.Originally Posted by smith288

Are your counterparts unknowledgable with the internet? Does anyone else post on fan forums or are they generally "above" that?Originally Posted by Team Clark

TC, do you have any idea if that teal was pre-Nats or is still being discussed? Personally I think that deal would be awesome for us, and am praying it's still on the table.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
The deal that was written down next to me was being discussed before the Nats trade was consumated.Originally Posted by RedsManRick
