    Nationals release C-1B Matt LeCroy

Can Wayne contain himself with an ex-Twin #1 pick (1997) out there?

LeCroy's defensive shortcomings behind the dish are well-documented- recall that story earlier in the year where he was pulled in the middle of an inning after making a couple of errors and allowing a bunch of steals- but he has always had a solid power/OBP bat.

Note that I'm not actually advocating this pickup. Same with anything about Shea Hillenbrand (the only way that one's got a prayer is if Rich Aurilia or Scott Hatteberg is traded... i.e. not very).

Wow, 4 catchers. The Reds could then have a catchers vs. middle infielders volleyball match in the offseason.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

Heh. I thought LeCroy had already been released.
