Yeah.. but he also has twice as many innings and only costs 17% of what Williamson costs.
Majewski cost more talent than dollars. Dollars are easier to come by.

I think this trade is shoring up the bullpen for when they trade Linebrink to the Sox for Lowell. That's a great get for the the Sox. I really wish Linebrink was a Red.
While he hasn't really done too hot since he's been here, he certinally didn't have a 7 ERA over his last month of pitching with his ERA over the last 10 games climing to 10+ at the time of the trade.Almost as good as Majewski, huh?
The Reds need a starter more than a reliever and that was true before the Nats deal.
They needed both, the team was weighed down by over 30 relievers with no stuff and tweener youths with no stuff.
Sometimes you have to trade some meat for some mustard and bread if you want to eat a sandwich.
Tyler Pelland, Brad Salmon, Phil Dumatrait, Calvin Medlock, Tom Shearn, Jonathan Coutlangus and David Shafer all say hi.
Sometimes there's some meat in the fridge too.
