I'm not listening to the game, but the LF Holden has also left the game. I hope they didn't have a collision or something.

OK, looking at the log on MiLB, it looks like Bruce was removed at the start of the 2nd inning. No collision, as far as I can see. Holden replaced him. He was put out as part of an unassisted DP at the end of the 1st inning. I'm not sure if he is injured or what.

I pulled up the Gameday Audio from MiLB. The announcer offered no explanation, saying only that he had been pulled after his only at-bat. Injury? Sickness? Trade?

Who knows. We'll find out soon enough.

It would have to be a big trade if it involves Bruce. It would seem like unless a injury he would finish the game. I guess could be a promotion as well.

Does anyone know who Jacob Long is or having any past stats on him?
I checked thebaseballcube.com and it just says he was selected by the Reds in 2004 and 2005.
Hes catching for the GCL Reds and is hitting around .362 in the 64-65 atbats hes had this year.

Jacob Long was, I believe, a draft-and-follow from 2005 who sgned about the same time Milton Loo did.
