Doesn't surpise me. The guy has a mouth on him.
It would be nice to have some left handed home run pop off the bench like Everett, but not at the price of Everetts attitude.

I lost ALL respect for him in the WS last year. I did not particularly care for him before that but he showed his true colors while on the bench during a game in Houston.

I thought you meant Adam Everett. I would have said chuck Clayton and sign him.
He's hitting 190 something since May 1 if I heard correctly on XM earlier. Mouth or not, thats why he's gone.

I missed that. What happened?
Garner was chirping from the bench about some calls and the white sox bench got upset. The Camera panned to Guillen. Everett was next to Guillen hanging over the rail, pointing and screaming at Garner. "Shut your Blank Blank Mouth you (Madre)(Finkelstein)...and he carried it on until Garner went up to the top of the steps. It looked as if Everett was coming out to meet him... It was a sad moment really. I believe I still have it on Tivo.

If the reds were to sign him I think someone should take him to a museum of natural history and have him explain how the fossils he sees never existed.

Carl Everett? He's older than dirt. Well, I guess that's a given. Dirt is what, 3,000 years old? Right Carl?
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
