Assuming Phily holds off Zona, we need a win tonight, that would push the Reds lead up to 2 1/2 on Zona, and 3 on San Fran.....

Phillies up 3 and Marlins up 5 as both enter the 9th. Barring a comeback we'll get losses for the Braves, DBacks, and Giants, the top 3 below the Reds. Now we just need to take advantage of it tonight!

This (assuming the Fish and Phillies hold thier 9th inning leads) could be a very profitable day for the Reds if they can pull out a win tonight against the Astros.

If they win tonight, they'd gain a game on each of the four teams directly below them.

Can't believe I'm going to say this, but we've gotta root for the Cubbies tonight, as well.

Braves game just went final as well!

Very productive afternoon of baseball for the Reds, now go take care of your own business in Houston!

Braves lose! So all 3 have laid an egg and we have a chance to drop the Stros down another notch tonight. A nice day.

I gotta admit, this IS fun!

Benzinger backing and calling! And the 1990 world championship series belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!

If the Reds stay in this, this could be a really fun thread down the stretch.

    Amen.

It already feels great being in position for a playoff birth as we approach August.
I hate the Cardinals. I hate the Cubs.
    Let's. Go. Reds.
