    How you suffer in a bad city...

    They got Nick Johnson and Juan Rivera for Vasquez.

    They got Soriano for Wilkerson.

    That '94 team was something else, too bad greed wiped out what could have been a championship season for them.

    You make a good point, and I've seen this before about the Expos/Nationals, but you could say that about a lot of teams. Maybe not to that degree, but with free agency, it is often times a revolving door. There is rarely player loyalty, but just team loyalty anymore from a fan to team perspective.

    Our Reds were pretty good also in 1994. We were in first place when the strike (owners lockout?) started to end the season.

    Players striking/owners lockout could have cost us two World Series titles. We had the OVERALL best record in baseball in the 1981 SPLIT SEASON.
