    They are very similar pitchers, the difference now is the HR rate but that can always change. That rate is all that keeps EZ afloat.

    When I think that what stands between a Reds victory and an offense that has nothing to lose (Astros) is Elizardo Ramirez, I begin to have my doubts.

    That's right. Ramirez has done that. Bucky hasn't.

    And the difference is about 2 runs per game on DIPS ERA.

    K rate ~10, BB rate < 3, HR rate ~0.5 suggest that if Homer isn't ready stuffwise then he is close.

    The issues with Homer at this point are workload related. Bring him up and put him in the pen.
