Homer Bailey pitching tonight/Minor League Updates

Homer is through 2 innings, allowed 2 hits, struck out 2 and has been throwing lots of offspeed stuff. His last batter he struck out he hit with a change up for pitch 1, a curve for pitch 2 and the threw a 94MPH FB by him.

Re: Homer Bailey pitching tonight/Minor League Updates

I got a little choked up today reading the latest BA tonight at dinner. It finally hit me that there are some Reds in the minors who seem to have legitimate shots at being All-Stars. Haven't seen this since Dunn/AK and pitching in longer than I can remember.

Here's to the future. Except Stubbs. He breaks my heart.

That's exactly what I think all of us want to hear.

Baez, opposing pitcher, threw behind Bailey and gets ejected from the game.

Yeah... if they hurt Bailey I may have to hurt somebody!

I didn't know he was still in our system (I must have missed that one)

I was surprised to see his name surface.

    Chattanooga PBP
Bailey gets down 2-0 on the first batter, but gets a pop up to CF on the next pitch.
Bailey strikes out the next batter.
BTW, Griffey just took a step in the right direction to breaking out of that slump!
Bailey strikes out the 3rd batter of the inning.

    Bailey 4ip, 3h, 0bb, 5k. 0 runs.
