Larry Ward, voice of the lookouts on if Homer is ready to help the Reds...

"Nope...he's still working on his command...and perfecting all aspects of his game. He'll be there...but not yet. I'd put him in a class of guys I've seen in this league like Kerry Wood and Mark Prior."

He also added that his main problems is still learning how to mix his pitches better.

Oh and Chris Dickerson just robbed a HR to end the inning for the Lookouts. The announcer says he has never seen a play like it before.
Excellent, I'd love to see what you've got! Heck, just start a thread and update it continually as the season progresses

Ok, so I have kept Game logs with as much information as possibly available via a box score and put them all together. Here is the information in one big chart. Any questions about anything, ask.

H/A= Home/Away. E.R.=Earned runs. BF=batters faced. S.ERA=season ERA. S.WHIP= season WHIP. GO=ground ball outs. FO=fly ball outs. Anything with an S. before it, the S stands for SEASON.

    Jay pulled a quad.

Bailey was ok tonight, he gave up 7 baserunners in 6 innings as a negative, but the stuff was good and he got out of jams.

He probably is another 1-2 years away.

7 baserunners in 6 innings? that doesn't sound too bad. I'd think a 1.17 WHIP is pretty solid.

Good stuff with the gamelogs, dd. Interesting to see that in Bailey's start with only three strikeouts on 07/15 that he produced 10 groundballs and only three fly balls. I thought I read that he was throwing a good deal of offspeed stuff, and if that's true, it's good to see most of his in-play outs were on the ground instead of in the air that night.

Well at least he'll be that mythical #2 pitcher we so badly need.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

Aronchis, does he need to allow fewer baserunners than innings every time out to satisfy you?
His WHIP in AA is 0.82.

Homer has gone 56 innings since he last allowed a HR. That is very impressive.

Man, you guys are sensative with Bailey. I am not being overly critical of his start, it was very solid. I was just taking notice that he allowed 7 baserunners in 6 innings, but his stuff was good to cull the damage. Geez

Another solid start for Homer. Glad to see he
handled the adversity well, and didn't get thrown out
    of the game.
Back to following MiLB; there's always hope for tomorrow!

sorry, I do get a little jumpy with Bailey. There is a lot of stuff on here at times that bothers me in relation to Bailey and sometimes I just get jumpy at things people say.
