    Dungeons and Dragons

Well, as summer winds to an end and people start heading back to school, moving away, and such, the weekly D&D game I run has lost a few of its regular members. Those of us who remain are beginning a new campaign over the next few weeks, and are looking for one or two players to round out our group.

We're located in NKY, about 10 minutes south of the Brent Spence, and play most every Sunday evening from 4-9pm. If there's anyone in the area interested a game, or you'd just like more information, please drop me a PM.
"It's easier to give up. I'm not a very vocal player. I lead by example. I take the attitude that I've got to go out and do it. Because of who I am, I've got to give everything I've got to come back."

    pencil and paper? Geek.

Be a real man and play a MMORPG.

Never have to even leave the house, let alone actually interact with another human being in person. There no one will care how close to the Brent Spence Bridge you live.

Do you guys listen to 8-track tapes and watch the black and white TV while you play?

    seriously.... MMORPG, google it.

Much has happened in the world since Wrath of Khan. Al Gore invented the internet, for one thing...

Oh, that's cold, when geeks turn upon their own...

I prefer actual human contact with a group of friends, kicking back a few beers, telling jokes, and rolling some dice to sitting in front of a PC in a darkened room.

MMORPGs are like porn - they're entertaining, but I'd rather have sex.

If we told any of our girlfriends, girls we are dating, or wives we play ROLE-PLAYING GAMES in our spare time....yeah, we wouldn't be getting any. LOL

I heard one of them draws their character, let's call it a 'toon, on an etcha-sketch and holds it in front of his face when it's his "turn".

Well, half of our group, including myself, are married with kids, so we don't really worry about finding dates anymore.

From one game geek to another, I apologize in advance, but I am contractually obligated to post these links whenever D&D pops up on any non-gaming site.

    8 bit D&D

A longer D&D skit (audio only) from the same Comedy Troupe

Finally, Stephen Colbertpays homage to D&D

Enjoy your splendid isolation! Don't forget to bathe.
