    rosetta stone

Has anyone tried to learn a foreign language by using this product? I've heard ads on the radio and have seen their products in several shopping malls. I'm trying to improve my Italian, but not sure if this is a good investment. I don't want something for an absolute beginner.

I get it for free through my job. I've not really tried it yet, though.

    They were a not-so-great goth-rock band in the late 80s-early 90s, IIRC.
"It's easier to give up. I'm not a very vocal player. I lead by example. I take the attitude that I've got to go out and do it. Because of who I am, I've got to give everything I've got to come back."

My first thought was the nun who taught Cheech & Chong's but had to take a leave of absence (on their album "Greatest Hit"). She was replaced by Sister Mary Elephant....

back to the topic... it is a great way for beginners to get a basic understanding of things to say in popular situations.

But, there is no substitute for immersion.

Nice product, but dont expect miracles.
