    Jorge Sosa & Ryan Franklin DFA

    Sould the Reds go after him?

    13-3 last season.. been rocky especially in his past 10 where he is 1-1 2 saves but a 7+ ERA

    Is that junk better than the junk we currently have? It might not hurt to look, especially since it probably wouldn't cost much. If you end up with another Phillips or Ross, good; if you end up with another Mays or Yan, then cut him with little loss.

    Exactly. Keep throwing stuff on the wall to see what sticks. Think of him as a younger Esteban Yan. It may work, it may not.

    I'd go for it, he has a good arm, if I'm remembering correctly. Doesn't he throw mid-high 90s or have I been smoking too much crack?

    he throws hard, but has little command.

    You have to be educated about what you throw at the wall however, your remark reminded me of Bowden's annual trash heap he brought to spring training.
