    Flash drives

    Hi guys,

I want to get a new flash drive and I wouldn't mind getting one that doubles as an MP3 player.

    Any recommendations?

I have a Wolverine, got it for $85, holds a gig and also records sound, good for meetings too.

I have an iPod shuffle, put I only use that for music. There is a hack out there for it so you don't have to use iTunes.

I use a memorex flash drive, got it for cheap at the time.

Don't know how you feel about it, but your best bet would be Wal-Mart. I bought a 128 MB flash drive for 20 bucks at Office Depot, then went to Wal-Mart the next day and found one at 512 MB for about five bucks more. I ended up giving the Office Depot one to my aunt and buying a 512 MB for school.

Here is a 1 GB version of the one I bought.

    Hope this helps.

With the popularity of the "Girls Gone Wild" videos, I hear "flash drives" have gotten more popular these days, especially during Spring Break.

Creative probably have the easiest to use for both as you can just take the flash drive and leave the battery. The TX version. Don't get the standard MuVo as you need a special cable.

Get a 1GB ipod Shuffle and enable the data feature (it separates memory).
Use half for data half for songs.

Get a refurb and it could be as low as $60, I believe.

edit: make that $79 from apple direct...could be less elsewhere
