Lohse will get roughed up between now and end of year, but he is already having a big impact on this team.

His numbers didn't look to bad to me. Few games under .500. With stuff like that and he is young. He was getting ripped on this thread. I mean really ripped.
And This One Belongs to the REDS!!!

I'm pretty sure seeing video of a guy is not the same as facing him. Regardless of how much video there is. It's a memory thing i think.

That said, really nice outing last night.
    Suck it up cupcake.

Lohse is just another horrible pickup on the long list of horrible pickups by Krivsky. I still long for the good old days of DanO.
I was in the ORG once, best 6 months of my life.

That is exactly what is happening ... and the Reds are reaping the benefit.

Kyle Lohse is not an ace, but he is also not the bum that everyone claimed he was immediately after the trade. Lohse was horrible in April and was limited to spot duty for the next two months. His recent hot streak is nothing more than a return to his career norms. Even after two months of lights out pitching, his 2006 ERA is still about three-quarters of a point higher than his 4.79 career mark.

Lohse is a solid innings-eater to throw into the back of a rotation. If he can ever harness his talent and be a little more consistent, he might even develop into a decent mid-rotation guy. He was certainly worth taking a flier on, especially when you consider the pricetag was just one overaged low-A pitching prospect.

    TINSTAAPP.
